The 1885 Singers
Alison Hunka founded the 1885 Singers in 1997. A Putney choir open to everyone, it has established itself in the music scene of South West London. They give four concerts a year, usually March, June, October and December. There is a 4-6week lead into each concert with rehearsals on Mondays and Thursdays in All Saints Church , Putney Common.

2017 - the 20th year of the 1885 Singers.
Our next concert -14th October. The Dream of Gerontius - Edward Elgar at St John's,Smith Square.
We shall be joined by members of the Malvern Festival Chorus. Booking details are on the poster below.
Our year ends with a Festive Christmas concert on 16th December at St Mary's church Putney High Street when we will have a mixed programme of Christmas cheer with proceeds going to charity.
